You'll soon be bored if you follow the same workout regime week in and week out. If you don't like your workout or if you're bored with it, chances are you won't keep it up. If you vary the types of exercises that you do regularly, you will not get bored and will motivate yourself to stay interested. You must be certain you keep your workout fun so that you don't quit. If you slack off for even a little while, it may be hard to get going again.

Give yourself something you truly love once you achieve a fitness milestone. This will keep your motivation high. Get yourself something small that will make you feel good and motivate you to want to keep working to get the next little gift. You should reward yourself with something that is realistic. The thought of the reward must be enough to help you stay motivated and active.
